Thumbnails

I start my process with lost of Thumbnails! Most Digital but sometimes traditionally with sticky notes and a pen. Ideating is such an important part of my process as it helps me to unleash all the ideas and possibilities without committing to one idea just yet.

Once I've gotten all the ideas out of my head I then begin to choose the best of my ideas. Don't worry lots of other ideas can be used for other future projects

Roughs/ Linearts

One the sketches have been established I bring the illustrations to scale. Sometimes this means lineart, flat colors, or even base of shapes blocked out for paintings.
